  • How long have you been in business?

Lil- Que Consultants began its operations in the year 2000. The Company was set up by two Batswana women Mrs. Lilly G Matenge and Mrs. Quena T Nkate, hence the name Lil-Que Consultants, a combination of both the directors’ first three letters of their names.

 

  • Do you offer a free initial consultation?

Yes, we do offer a free initial consultation. It allows both parties a chance to determine if our services are a good fit to your business.

 

  • Are you a member of any professional organizations?

Yes, we are a member of the BICA (The Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants) and BQA (Botswana Qualifications Authority).  In addition, many of our employees belong to various international accounting institutions. We are also registered with the Botswana Unified Revenue Services. 

 

  • How do you determine your fees? Is it a fixed or variable fee?

Lil-Que Consultants operates on both fixed and variable fee structures. As every assignment is unique it will not be prudent to adopt a ‘one size fits all’ approach. The fees are determined based on the scope, duration of the assignment and level of resources. Due to the nature of our business , our engagement contracts are in line with the applicable regulatory requirements.

 

  • When can I expect to receive my completed tax returns back from you?

Due to the complexity of some tax returns, our turnaround time can be a few days or up to a week.  

 

  • What kind of recruitment services do you offer?

We do recruitment on behalf of our clients. The methodologies we use depends on the client’s request. These could be through advertising in the local media and ensuring that the top candidates go through a psychometric testing for various companies and organisations. The Company has conducted recruitment across the spectrum from basic admin staff to executive management positions to small, medium, large corporates both local and international.

 

We also provide Secondment Services which offer much needed flexibility for employers when recruitment of permanent staff is not viable either due to cost or lack of key personnel. Below are some of the benefits of secondment services:

 

Provision of key personnel for a highly specialized assignment where in-house house staff don’t have the capacity to do it, thus gaining access to resources not available internally.
Relieving staff on maternity or other leave.
Short term engagements that don’t need the services of a permanent staff.

 

  • What type of training courses do you offer?

We have an extensive background in provision of training courses. We are registered with the Botswana Qualifications Authority and are accredited for the following training courses.
